Karl-Heinz Richter was born at Halberstadt in Germany in 1946.After having studied and performed his activity as a ceramist, he was a teacher for a long period.
After having left the didactic work, he started in 1987 to devote himself to the artistic creation.
His sculptures, either representing wildlife or human characters, are created in a very personal style, and they appear always very ironically interpreted.
Some of his large size sculptures are today in private collections and museums in Germany.
He sculpted in 2006 an exclusive collection of thirteen subjects for Florence Sculture d’Arte.
